Charli XCX is clearly feeling very brat summer.
The "Apple" singer had an an adorable day-date with fiancé George Daniel in Los Feliz, Calif, Aug. 10 where they enjoyed lunch and a stroll in Los Feliz, Calif.
For the outing, Charli, 32, kept it casual, sporting a black tank top and gray cargo pants, while George, 34, donned a Rage Against the Machine t-shirt and beige shorts. The two could also be seen looking lovingly at each other, with George leaning over to press his finger to Charli's lips.
Charli and The 1975 drummer first appeared to connect in 2021 while working together on the song "Spinning," and finally confirmed their relationship in May 2022 before sharing news of their engagement in November 2023.
And despite their romance, two have continued to collaborate musically—although Charli admitted there are definitely some highs and lows of working with your significant other.
"We want to impress each other, and we think we're both really good," she told Rolling Stone U.K. for their June/July 2024 issue, "but I'm actually such a bitch in the studio with George."
As the "Speed Drive" singer explained, "Because we're obviously so close, you lose everything in terms of the normal studio boundaries."
But still, there doesn't seem to be anyone she'd rather work with.
"We flow really well," she added, "and he leaves a lot of space for people to breathe and be them and do their process."
And that "flow" can definitely be seen on Charli's new album brat, with George jumping in to write and produce the songs "Apple" and "Club Classics."
And of course, he could not be prouder of his lady, sharing a photo of the two on Instagram April 3 with the caption, "What a campaign, what an album, what a life, what a wife."
But the duo aren't the only two feeling extra bratty this year, as George's 1975 bandmate Matty Healy recently got engaged to Gabbriette Bechtel, with the 26-year-old using one of Charli's concerts in Brooklyn in June to share the news.
Referencing Charli's album, Gabbriette shared a picture of her black diamond engagement ring to her Instagram Story, writing, "MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT."
